Dilated Gastric Outlet & Pouch Repair

If you have experienced weight gain after having a Gastric Bypass, it could be due to the stretching of the pouch over time. During the revision, we will repair the pouch to the original size after the Gastric Bypass.

Gastric Fistula Repair

If you experience weight gain after gastric bypass, shortly after surgery, it could be due to a fistula. A fistula is an abnormal connection or passageway between two organs or vessels that normally do not connect. A fistula can occur after a gastric bypass when the old section of stomach re-forms a passageway with the new pouch. During the revision, we will remove the fistula and repair the stomach so the pouch and the bypassed section of stomach are no longer connected.

Gastric & Duodenal Ulcers after Bariatric Surgery

Sometimes patients my experience persistent pain or bleeding after surgery, due to gastric and duedenal ulcers. We will close and repair the ulcers.

Remove or Repair Gastric Band

People who have had Gastric Band weight loss surgery may need revision work due to allergic reactions to the band, the band has eroded over time, or the band is no longer restricting the stomach enough, which is necessary for weight loss. Normally people who suffer from a dysfunctional gastric band experience abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting and weight gain. We will remove or repair the gastric band as necessary.

Gastric Sleeve Leak or Esophageal Leak

After undergoing Sleeve Gastrectomy, changes due to tension may weaken the stomach tissue, making healing difficult. This in turn, causes contents in the stomach to leak, causing fever, pain and infection. We will repair your stomach so leaking no longer occurs.

Gastric Sleeve Repair

If you experience weight gain after sleeve gastrectomy, it could be that over time, the pouch created during the gastric sleeve procedure stretched allowing for a larger capacity stomach. We will repair your stomach back to the state it was in right after surgery.
